Information we may collect
- Your name, email address and any notes you send with an order or enquiry.
- Your slate design, memorial wording, dates, photographs and captions.
- Your Stone & Paws reference number and information needed to match a website submission to an Etsy order.
- Basic technical information needed for website security and delivery.
- If you allow anonymous visitor statistics, a randomly generated browser identifier and the page visited.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare and check your design, fulfil your order, create and maintain a purchased digital memorial, provide customer support and keep the website secure. Optional visitor statistics help us understand which pages are being used and improve the website.
Payment is completed through Etsy. Stone & Paws does not collect or store your payment-card details on this website.
Photographs and memorial content
Please only upload photographs and wording that you are entitled to share. Information entered into the preview remains private while your memorial is being prepared. A finished memorial is only published after review and can then be opened by anyone who has its unique link or QR card.
Who we use to provide the service
We use trusted service providers where necessary, including Cloudflare for website hosting, security and storage, and Etsy for purchases and order administration. We only use or share information as needed to provide the service, protect the website or meet a legal obligation. Stone & Paws does not sell your personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep submissions and customer correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to prepare the order, provide support, resolve any issue and meet relevant record-keeping requirements. Published digital memorial content is kept for the service period shown when purchased and any stated renewal or grace period. You can ask us to remove a memorial or submission by emailing us.
Anonymous visitor statistics
The visitor counter is optional. If allowed, the website stores a random identifier in your browser so repeat visits are not counted as different people. It is not used for advertising. You can change your choice below at any time.
